Kindergarten (5 Years Old by September 1st)

In New Jersey, The Common Core State Standards for Kindergarten Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science and Social Studies are organized by subject area followed by the individual standards or child outcomes.  The Common Core Standards focus on “the best practices” in education- what children should know and be able to do by the end of Kindergarten.

The SuperKids full day Kindergarten adheres to The Common Core Standards.  However, these standards are not the only thing needed for your child’s success.  At SuperKids we believe in immersion learning. Therefore, our Kindergarten class takes full advantage of our small class size and schedules frequent field trips to coincide with their studies.  For example, they visit the grocery store to learn about food, health and money exchange.  They visit an environmental center to experience and talk about life cycles, they go to the Paper Mill Playhouse and see their books acted as plays and much more.

In addition to the outstanding learning experience SuperKids offers our Kindergartners, parents can rest assured knowing that their child is safe and happy with not only early and late day options, but also your child can still participate in the barrage of extra-curricular activities already offered at SuperKids by local professionals.
